A tree near my studio steadily drops pinecones each year and I began collecting them. When dried out, they release an abundance of winged seeds. Nature is prolific but the threat of climate change means many trees will not be able to reproduce and grow fast enough to survive. These seeds were scattered across hand-treated paper and exposed to UV light before washing and flattening. Series is produced in approximately A3 size in different styles, brushed or circular format.
